Vehicle Listing Description
This is a 1968 Chevelle Malibu with a BRAND NEW Chevy V-8 350 crate motor, 4-barrel Edelbrock carb and air filter, nasty dual Flowmaster exhausts and California black plates. It roars, sets off car alarms, and scares small children. If this doesn’t make you smile, this is NOT the car for you. The interior features reupholstered seats front and back. Brand new front disc brakes. It's ready to finish and impress - the bones are all there.

I am selling it because I don’t have time for it with a baby in my future and a couple of businesses to run. It’s got all the guts in place, a solid interior and needs only your finishing touches on a paint job with some cosmetic body work (see photos). New front disc brakes. Rear drums. The lines are straight and nasty. The tires are in good shape and feature American Racing lock rims that bring out the car’s nasty side.

The Chevy crate motor was installed last summer by JH Restoration in Riverside, California – a great shop that specializes in muscle cars. I replaced the original 307 engine because, well, it was a piece of crap. The new engine has received 2 oil changes since being installed. Along with the engine, pretty much everything attached to it except the exhaust manifolds are also new – pump, hoses, belts, flywheel, etc. I also added a brand new Edelbrock 4-barrel carb and air filter. An extra-large (truck-size) aluminum radiator was also installed.

One of the coolest things about the 4-door is that there is no center column between the front and rear windows, so when you roll them all down you have a nice big open space. It’s really nice for driving in the summer catching a breeze, or people watching.

The exterior needs paint and refinishing; one of the quarterpanels needs some body work (see photo). All chrome and trim is accounted for, but most of it needs refinishing because it’s pitted. NO CANCER.

Windows appear to all-original glass. I had to replace some window lever knobs, but everything works fine. The heater works great.

The interior features reupholstered front and rear bench seats. They look brand new and are super-comfortable. All seatbelts are in place and are all-original. The dash cover and headliner need replacing. There are aftermarket racing-style, chrome gauges for engine temperature, RPMs, voltage, oil pressure, etc. The steering wheel is original. The carpet, headliner and dash cover needs replacing.

There is a pretty good sound system installed featuring a 6-disc changer and decent speakers. All head and tail lights work fine. The horn needs replacing.

I will take cash or a cashier’s check drawn on a US bank only. You will be responsible for shipping, inspection and taxes.
